A significant milestone was marked yesterday in Ulcinj as investors, representatives of public institutions, business leaders, and members of the local community gathered to celebrate the official groundbreaking ceremony of Oro Verde, a new premium residential and tourism development overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the Liman II neighborhood.
The ceremony officially marked the beginning of construction for a project envisioned as a harmonious blend of luxury living, sustainable development, and long-term economic value for the region.

Addressing the guests, investor Mergim Pristina described Oro Verde as the realization of a vision that has been carefully developed over many years.

Among the distinguished guests was former United States Congressman Jerry Weller, who traveled from Washington, D.C., further reflecting the growing international interest in Montenegro and its investment potential.

As part of its broader commitment to the local community, Oro Verde recently supported the digital transformation of the National Library of Ulcinj through the donation of technical equipment, improving access to educational resources for local residents.
During his address, Mergim Pristina also paid tribute to the late architect Zaim Nimanbegu, whose vision played a significant role in shaping the project. He announced an initiative to name the main street within the Oro Verde complex in his honor, recognizing his lasting contribution and legacy.

The ceremony concluded with the symbolic laying of the foundation stone by investors, local officials, and project partners, officially marking the commencement of construction works.
